Return Policy

OutbackTrading.com can only accept return requests for orders placed on OutbackTrading.com that meet the following criteria:

  • ☑ Item was delivered within past 30 days.
  • ☑ Item is in “new” condition
  • ☑ Item is unworn, unaltered, and unwashed.
  • ☑ Item includes the original tags.

All returns must be initiated within the Outbacktrading.com Returns Portal. Any items returned to our warehouse without being processed in this portal will be refused.

If you reside within the United States, you will be charged a flat-fee of $8.00 USD for return shipping and a label will be provided automatically. This charge will be deducted from your refund. Please note: All original shipping is non-refundable and can be found under our shipping policy page.

If you reside outside of the United States, you are responsible for shipping the item back to us at your expense.

Your refund will be processed within 2-3 business days upon receipt of the returned item. Please note: the refund can take up to 5 additional business days to finalized depending on your card issuer.

Any returned product showing any type of wear will be subject to a deduction on the return credit at the sole discretion of Outback Trading Co.

Exchange Policy

OutbackTrading.com can only accept exchange requests for orders placed on OutbackTrading.com that meet the following criteria:

  • ☑ Item was delivered within past 30 days.
  • ☑ Item is in “new” condition
  • ☑ Item is unworn, unaltered, and unwashed.
  • ☑ Item includes the original tags.
  • ☑ Item was not previously exchanged.

All exchanges must be initiated within the Outbacktrading.com Returns Portal which is located here. Any items returned to our warehouse without being processed in this portal will be refused.

If you reside within the United States, a return label will be provided automatically free of charge. We will also ship your replacement item to you free of charge

If you reside outside of the United States, we do not allow exchange requests.

We can only offer exchanges for the same item in a different configuration (size/color) that is currently available in stock.

NOTE: Once an item is exchanged, it can no longer be exchanged or returned for a refund.

Warranty Policy

At Outback Trading Co., we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our gear. Our warranty covers manufacturer defects of items purchased directly from OutbackTrading.com for 3-Month Limited Warranty from the date of delivery. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and requires a valid order number from our website.

What Is Covered

Our warranty covers manufacturer defects, including:

  • Defective zippers or snaps
  • Defective seams or stitching
  • Oilskin material defects
  • Hat bands that are not properly attached

If a defect is confirmed, the original item will be returned, and Outback will send a replacement. Other options may be given by the rep on a case by case basis if other options are available.* 


What Is Not Covered

The following are not considered manufacturer defects and are not covered:

Material Neglect:
- Damage caused by improper care or failure to follow care instructions

Normal Wear or External Damage:
- Tears, rips, or damage not caused by a manufacturing defect
- Sun damage or heat damage
- Animal damage (including moths, rodents, or pets)

Lost or Stolen Items:
- Items that are lost or stolen after delivery

Replacement Parts:
- Extra Snaps & buttons are sent with our jackets and vests. We no longer send replacement snaps, buttons, or zippers separately. 

Items not purchased directly from OutbackTrading.com:
An order number is needed to make a warranty claim. Any purchases not made directly from our site must be addressed with the original retailer of purchase and are not covered by this warranty. 


How the Warranty Works
  • Our team will review your claim and photos of the defect.
  • If approved, we will provide instructions for repair - or -our original garment will be returned, and we will replace it.
  • Any returns will follow our returns policy outlined above.
